Dragon!

I was reminded of an old clay sculpture of a dragon I did about twelve years ago. During a move I ended up throwing it out thinking I could just recreate it . But it was a piece I actually like. I'm sure I have a photo of it somewhere. I'll have to do some searching for it.

Digitally fast forward...

I've been playing around with Zbrush on and off for the last year but have never done a full sculpt until now. I'm labeling this piece a work in progress. There are quite a few areas I'd like to improve and I haven't decided where or not to paint it yet. Most of it was done without looking at reference... but I'll have to look some up if I want to make this better.

Another Rig

Here I'm testing another crappy rig. The renders turned out alright. But again, my rigging skills needs some work.

Master Wong

Master Wong in 3D. I created this quite a while ago and finally decided to upload it. The character rig itself is pretty crappy, but, I suppose it's not bad for my first rig.

Mental Ray experiment

A simple scene modeled in Maya. The liquid was simulated in Real Flow. (Something I have been required to use a lot of at work.) Most of the work in this Maya scene was in the shader networks. The lighting setup was also very simple. Only one spot light. Considering how little work I put into this, it turned out quite well.
